Gertrude Marie Mcqueen

Gertrude Marie McQueen, age 97, formerly of Hamilton, passed away in the Life Care of Boise, Idaho on Sunday, January 20, 2008 at 5:15 PM. She was born in Nashville, Michigan on October 31, 1910 the daughter of James and Lucy (Evans) (Little) Seeley. Gertrude was employed as a seamstress for Leshners and Fashion Frock for a number of years, and was a member of Hamilton Christian Center. On December 31, 1931 in Newport, Kentucky she was married to Roy McQueen, and he preceded her in death in 1999. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Louise Krall of Boise, Idaho and Beverly Ann (Ernie) Whitaker of Liberty Township; one sister, Freda Lewis of Tampa, Florida; six grandchildren, Darrell, Kevin, Diana, Roy Lee, Billy, and Tommy; and also eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and nine brothers and sisters. A private graveside service will be held in Rose Hill Burial Park on Friday, January 25, 2008 at 2:00 PM with Elder Ernie Ellis officiating. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation.
