Gladys Shepherd, age 91 of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. Born in Hamilton, Ohio on May 24, 1926 to McKinley and Lucy (nee Combs) Sizemore, Gladys was educated in the Hamilton City Schools, then went on to work at National Can Company and Champion Paper Company. On September 23rd, 1948, she married Louis Shepherd in Kenton Co, Kentucky. Gladys loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed working in her yard, gardening, fishing, and camping.

Gladys is survived by her daughters, Linda Wiley and Vicky (Scott) Roark; her grandchildren, Megan Wiley, Jamie (Todd) Lovejoy, Carrie (Josh) Hundley, and Matt (Jessica) Sexton; her great-grandchildren, Vera, Logan, Griffen, Avelyn, Lucky, Clay, Dakota, Matt Jr., Dylan, and Shauna; her siblings, Myrt Lemp, Stanley (Betty) Sizemore, and Robert Sizemore; many loving nieces and nephews; friends and many wonderful neighbors. She was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Louis Shepherd; her parents; her siblings, Mary Hiatt, Martha Grimes, Margaret Sizemore, Juanita Sizemore, and Bradford Sizemore.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1:00PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Salvation Army or The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields.
