Gladys Smith

Gladys Smith, age 75 of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. Gladys was born in Sand Gap, Kentucky on June 27, 1948 to Arnold Templeton and Opal (Grimes) Templeton. She loved attending church, spending Wednesdays with her grandchildren, going to the mountains, good food, and decorating her house.

Gladys is survived by her husband of 43 years, Kenneth Smith; three children, Curtis (Yalonda) Smith, Crystal (Andy) Bishop, and Kevin Smith (Linda Thurman); eight grandchildren, Curtis Jr, Kayonna, Mariah, Jacob (Heather), Kristen (Derry), Caleb, Ashley and Justin; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Shirley Cobb, Phyllis Asher and Rick (Regenia) Templeton; and numerous other relatives and friends. Gladys was preceded in death by parents; son, Kenneth Smith Jr.; two sisters, Patty Templeton and Lois Anne Templeton; niece, Rhonda Hobbs; and two nephews, Jack Cobb and Jeffrey Cobb.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio 45013. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Granville Saylor officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
