Glen Daniel Baker

Glen Daniel Baker "Duke" 75yr Duke was born Jan. 1, 1949 to Farmer Baker Sr. And Bodie Campbell Baker in Hamilton. He passed away on June 5th. 2024.

Duke is survived by his loving wife, Susan Bishop Baker; his children, Kimberly Leigh Baker Brown and Doug, Regina L. Baker Wyatt and Tim, Bethany Sapp, Bryan Sapp, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, his sister Faye Croucher, brothers Farmer Baker, Jr. and Saul Baker. Duke was preceded in death by his beloved son, Jason Baker; his brothers Paul, Emery, Leroy, Jim, Don, and sister Lois Jean.

Duke was employed as an over-the-road truck driver. As a small child, Duke sang on many Sunday Mornings at Kenworth Pentecostal Church. He had a beautiful voice. He loved cooking, boxing, and motorcycles. He was affectionately known as Uncle Duke to all. Our many thanks to the staff of Glen Meadows Nursing Home for the love and care (Mr. Duke as they called him) received during his time there.
