Glenna J. Guthrie

Glenna J. Guthrie, age 65 of Hamilton, passed away at West Chester Hospital on Tuesday, October 15, 2013. She was born in Tunnelton, WV on April 2, 1948 to Carl and Ella (Sigley) McDainel.

She is survived by her husband, Earl Guthrie, Sr.; children, Lynn (Matt Barnett) McDaniel, Jeanne (Jeffrey) Hensley, Earl Richard (Lindsey Thompson) Guthrie, Jr. and Christy (David Landry) Sawyers; step children, Donna (Leon) Barr, Suzanne (Chris) Clemmons, Caroline Baker and Carol Lee; grandchildren, Sabrina Barnett, Justin, Samantha, Joshua and Julian Hensley, Spencer, Derrick, Gavin, Savanna and Kaitlyn Guthrie and Brandon Sawyers; step grandchildren, Andrew (Diane) Southerland, Joe (Amy) Southerland, Patricia Barr, Paul Barr, Christopher Stipe, Zachary Stipe, Jacob Clemmons, Matthew Baker, Jasmine Baker, Hermon Lee, Jessica Lee, Gloria Guthrie, Lacey Thompson, Liza O'Leary and Jamie Thompson; step great grandchildren, Connor Foley, Logan Stipe, Joseph, Haylee, Andrew, Anna and Aubrey Southerland, Makayla Barr, Cincere Clemmons, Emmalee Lee, Payton Emmerling, Alliyah Baker, Isabella and Olivia Thompson, Ukyah and Kierstin Newton, Aiden and Alexander O’Leary; and many more close friends and relatives . She was preceded in death by her mother.

You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten. The battle you fought for over five years proves your love was more powerful than breast cancer. The love you gave to every person child and animal, even in your hardest times, will be forever lasting.
