Glenna Lucille Thornhill, age 85 of Liberty Township, passed away at Hawthorn Glen Nursing Center on Thursday, March 14, 2013. She was born in Hamilton on January 15, 1928 to Charles and Glenna (Boggs) Edgington.
She is survived by her children, June Ann Collie and Glenna Hammons; brother, Lou (Geneva) Edgington; 8 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peyton H. Thornhill, Jr.; her parents; children, Charles Thornhill and Brenda Hammons; sisters, Charlotte Freeman and Mary Lou Medlock; granddaughters, Amy Conley and Glenna Jane Cherif; great grandson, Ronnie Toepfert; and son in law, Paul Hammons.
Visitation will be 9:30am until time of service (10:30am), Saturday, March 16, 2013, at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery.
