Glenora F. Tipton

Glenora F. Tipton, age 89 of Hamilton, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 15, 2024. Glen was born in Lee County, KY on April 9, 1935 to Charles B. and Sarah B. (nee Jones) Miller. In July of 1953 she married the love of her life, Shelby G. "Jim" Tipton. Glen loved flower gardening, her children and grandchildren and above all, her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She attended Full Gospel Church and more recently, Full Gospel Mission. Glen ministered on Good Shephard Ministries’ radio broadcast on WCNW AM radio station for 25 years. Glen never missed an opportunity to witness for the Lord.

Glen is survived by her children, Herschel (Sheila) Tipton, Jim (Nancy) Tipton and Alberta (Paul) Mullins; her grandchildren, Charlie, Michelle, Kim (Rick), Jimmy (Lisa), Ronnie (Amy), Mike (Jenny), David (Kristy), Dawn (Gary), and Jimmy (Emily); her 22 great-grandchildren; her 15 great great grandchildren; a great great great grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Glen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 51 years, Shelby G. "Jim" Tipton; her children Michael Tipton and Yvonda “Bonnie” Tipton; and her 8 siblings.

Visitation will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, April 19, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Paul Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery.
