Gloria J. Winkler

Gloria J. Winkler, age 76 , passed away at Hospice of Cincinnati on Thursday, May 23, 2024. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on May 2, 1948 the daughter of Yancie and Martha (Gray) Depew.  Gloria was a 1966 graduate of Ross High School. On December 16, 1966, in Hamilton she married Paul M. Winkler and he preceded her in death in 1995. Gloria was a retired as a social worker for Butler County Jobs and Family Services after numerous years of service. She was a devoted Christian and a longtime member of the Winton Road First Church of God.

Gloria was a devoted mother and grandmother who is survived by her three sons, Michael (Leona) Winkler, Kurt Winkler, and Darrin (Angie) Winkler; eleven grandchildren, Zachary, Kaitlin, Ashley, Allison, Olivia, Mason, Samantha, Taylor, Hannah, Jacob, and DJ; nine great-grandchildren and one on the way; three siblings, Merle Depew, Gayle Arnold, and Carl Depew; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her spouse; her parents; and four siblings, Carole Staton, Glenda Weddle, Penny Schurger, and Keith Depew.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, May 31, 2024 at 12:00 PM with Rev. Dennis Whitaker officiating.  Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
