Grace Marlene (Lunsford) Begley

Grace Marlene Begley (nee Lunsford), age 75 of Eaton, passed away at Huntington Court Nursing Facility on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, after battling an extended illness. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on January 25, 1948 to Albert Lunsford Sr. and Lucinda (Roberts) Lunsford.  She was educated in Hamilton City Schools.  Grace worked at East Hamilton Lunch and several restaurants over the years; and was also a childcare provider for many years.  She was a Mother to none, but a Mom to many, providing childcare for over 80 children.  She was like a mother to many, especially her nieces and nephews.  On April 6, 1976, in Hamilton she married Elmer Begley, and he preceded her in death in 2013.

Grace is survived by her partner of 8 years, Ivan Boggs; her brothers, Albert Lunsford of Somerville, Ohio, Mark (Phyllis) Lunsford of Staunton, Virginia, and Lester (Julia) Lunsford of Mt. Morris, Michigan; her sister Vickey Platt of Florida; and her precious Fur Baby Tiny. Grace was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Herbert, Charles, Ron, David, and Richard; three sisters, Virginia, Edna, and Lottie Ellen.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 1:00 PM with Rev. David Oakley of Northside Chapel First Church of God officiating.  Burial will follow at Fairmound Cemetery in West Elkton, Ohio.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October  4, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to Fort Hamilton ICU nurses as well as Hospice of Cincinnati for all their dedicated care and support.
