Harold Hornsby

Harold W. Hornsby, age 67 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 8:40 AM. He was born in Hamilton on September 6, 1945 to Charles and Florine (Ashcraft) Hornsby. Harold served our country in the United States Army. Harold retired from the City of Hamilton after 30 years of service. He was the Street Commissioner for the Village of Millville and a Fire Fighter/ EMT for Hanover Township Fire Department.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judith Hornsby; children Sherry (Bryan) Morgan and Brian Hornsby; grandchildren Garrett Morgan and Connor Morgan; sisters Marjorie (Jerry) Cook, Lois (Marvin) Cook, and brother Dennis Hornsby; sister-in-law Patty Horsnby; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Bobby Hornsby, and nephews Tim Cook and Donald Hornsby.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 12 PM with Joseph Hart of Bible Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 10-12 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to The American Cancer Society.
