Harold David Reed

Harold David Reed, age 62 of Hamilton passed away at VA Medical Center on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 5:55 AM. He was born in Hamilton on August 31, 1946 the son of Carlos and Mary (Young) Reed. Harold was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Viet Nam Era from 1965 to 1968. He was employed as a model maker for Square D.

He is survived by three brothers, Robert (Janet) Reed of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dale (Pat) Reed of Oxford, and Dean (Linda) Reed of Cloverport, Kentucky; a sister, Nina (Eugene) Marcum of Camden; a very special friend, Brenda Hensley of Atlanta, Georgia; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Gary Reed.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Richard McGuire officiating. Burial will follow in Springdale Cemetery in Reily. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until 1:00 PM.
