Harold Winkler

Harold Winkler, age 86 of Hamilton, passed away at his residence on September 14, 2016, at 10:58pm. Harold was born in Hamilton, Ohio on August 18, 1930 to William H. Winkler and Ella Mae (Ogelsby) Winkler. He worked at Champion Paper Company for 40 years, retiring in 1992. He was a lifetime member of Monkeys Mutual Aid #1, Moose #36, Eagles #407, and the Old Timers Champion. In 1950 in Hamilton he married Bonalee Sirabry, and she preceded him in death in 2013.

Harold is survived by one son Dale (Linda) Winkler of Hamilton; three grandchildren, Stacy (Virgil) Sheppard, Emily Winkler, and Melanie (John) Love; nine great grandchildren, Aivry, Korren, Malik, Douglas, Bella, Charlotte, Dalyn, Violet, and June; one sister, Helen Lambers, one brother, Oral Winkler; and in laws Jackie (Jim) Delker. Harold was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Ray, Charles, and Dallas Winkler; and two sisters, Opal Rose, and Rena Scott.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue on Monday, September 19, 2016,at 2PM with Pastor Ron Pittman officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 19, 2016 from 1PM to 2PM at the funeral home.
