Harry Robert "Bob" Crowe, Jr.

Harry Robert "Bob" Crowe, Jr., age 62 of Hamilton passed away in Miami Whitewater Park, Crosby Township, Cincinnati, on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at 2:30 PM. He was born in Excelsior Springs, Missouri on January 10, 1945 the son of Harry Robert and Oda Ruth (Cox) Crowe Sr. Bob was a 1963 graduate of Excelsior Springs High School, in 1967 he earned a B.S. in business from the University of Central Missouri, in 1989 he earned his CPA from Upper Iowa University. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Covington, Kentucky and attended Harvest Christian Fellowship Church of Hamilton. He was employed as a revenue agent for the IRS in Covington, Kentucky for seventeen years, retiring in 2006. On August 9, 2003 in Hamilton he was married to Frances Marksberry Johnson.

He is survived by his wife, Frances A. Crowe of Hamilton; one son, Pvt. Robert Wayne Crowe of Ft. Benning, Georgia and his mother, Margaret Crowe of Urbandale, Iowa; one stepdaughter, Lori Lin (Charlie) Kampouroglou of West Chester; two sisters, Barbara Buehrer of Kansas City, Missouri and Nancy Crowe of Parkville, Missouri; one granddaughter, Bethany Johnson of West Chester; two nieces, Denise Buehrer of St. Louis, Missouri and Katrina (Todd) Bellem of Shawnee Mission, Kansas; and two great-nieces, Savannah and Lexie Bellem of Shawnee Mission, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, September 28, 2007 at 6:00 PM with Rev. Patricia Hatfield, Pastor of First Christian Church of Covington, Kentucky and Rev. Elby Harrison, Pastor of Harvest Fellowship Christian Church of Hamilton officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Interment will be in Excelsior Springs Masonic Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the First Christian Church or Harvest Fellowship Christian Church. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thank you to the Whitewater Park Rangers for their help and concern.
