Harry Lee Hatten Sr.

Harry Lee Hatten Sr., age 88 of Hamilton, passed away at Heartland of Woodridge on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 5:05PM. He was born in Hamilton on April 6, 1927 to Richard and Mamie (Harrison) Hatten. Harry was a Unites States Navy Veteran, serving in World War II. Harry was also employed at Fischer Body for many years. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. On June 2, 1945 in Covington, KY, he married Georgia Ash. Harry was also an avid coin collector.

He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Georgia Hatten, of Hamilton; three children, Harry Lee (Karen) Hatten Jr., of Marion, IN, Neil (Kathy) Hatten, of St. Augustine, FL, and Diana (Greg) Kottner, of West Chester; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren; four brothers, Richard Hatten, Raymond Hatten, Ronald Hatten, and Roy Hatten; and three sisters, Eva Wishern, Faye Parra, and Clara DeCompus. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Gloria (Lyle) Robinson; two brothers, Merle Hatten and Earl Hatten; one grandson, Harry Lee Hatten III, and one great-grandson, Bradley Wayne Hatten.

Funeral services will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home 1350 Millville Ave. on Friday May 29th, 2015 at 12noon with Pastor Todd Weldon officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday May 29th, 2015 from 11AM-12noon. Memorial contributions can be made to Heartland Hospice.
