Harry S. Huffman

Harry S. Huffman, Jr., age 52, of Hamilton, passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Wednesday August 12, 2009. He was born in Hamilton on September 1, 1956 the son of Harry S. and Mary (Stickler) Huffman Sr. Harry attended Oxford schools and was a graduate of Talawanda High School. He served in the Marine Corp from 1973 to 1975. Harry was formerly employed at Horn Lumber Company and later as a corrections officer for Butler County Sheriffs Dept.

He is survived by his children, Tiffany Huffman and Ryan Childers of Millville, Scott Huffman and Stephanie Garcia-Tovar of Hamilton; a brother, Jerry (Cathy) Huffman of Valdosta, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Karen Hensel.

Glenna, Tiffany, and Ryan would like to especially thank their family, Ed Bowden, Bob and Kathy Estridge, Brenda Reynolds, Don and Linda Noes, Larry Tucker, Rick and Sharon Weber, and all his friends at Ohio Lunch for their support thru the years.

A memorial gathering will be held at HEADWATERS, 154 Brookwood Ave., on Thursday Aug.20th from 6:00 PM till time of memorial service at 7:30 PM with Rev. Doug Sheldon officating. Cremation has been held. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Harry Huffman Memorial Fund thru any First Financial Bank.
