Harry D. Newton

Harry D. Newton, age 78 of Hamilton, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, December 9, 2020. Harry was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 9, 1942 to Henderson Newton and Ruth (Hardy) Newton. He was employed at AK Steel for over 42 years, working in the Blast Furnace.

Harry is survived by one son, Wally (Courtney) Couch; 5 grandchildren, Camren, Kaleigh, Colten, B.J., and Cody; his siblings,  Herman Newton, Charles Newton, Marthie McGregor, Melva Price, Ola Jean Thomas, Paul Newton, Ralph Newton, Sue Weeden, Wanda McDonald. Harry was preceded in death by his spouse, Helen Newton; and his siblings, Brenda Harmon, Donna Newton, Elizabeth Newton, Gerald Newton, Helen Newton, Henderson Newton, Henderson Newton Jr., Richard Newton, Ruth Newton.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 12:00 PM with Brother Arnold Brewer  officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions can be made to Queen City Hospice.
