Harry Lee Otto

Harry Lee Otto age 80 of Hamilton, Ohio died on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Fort Hamilton Hospital. He was born on February 18, 1932 in Franklin County, Indiana to Virgil and Leota (Inloes). He graduated from Reily High School in 1950. Harry worked 40 years at Champion International Paper. Harry served in the U.S. Army from 1954-1956. He belongs to AMVETS, American Legion, and Butler County Antique Farm Machinery Club. He was a faithful member to the Westwood Presbyterian Church. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Harry never forgot his family. He also enjoyed motorcycling and spending time working on his antique John Deere tractors.

He leaves his wife of 59 years, Loretta (Shiplet) Otto; sons, Steve and Jennifer Otto of Maineville, Ron and Roxanna Otto of Reily ; grandsons, Mitch Otto, Derek Otto and Nicholas Otto; granddaughters Alexis Otto, Taylor Cook, and Shelby Cook; great-grandchildren, Zackary Otto, Payton Oliver; one sister Ellen Lowery of Hamilton; one brother Virgil and Trish Otto of Reily; sister-In-laws Eleanor Otto of Bath, IN, Rose Otto of Hamilton, Carolyn Shiplet of Hamilton, Iona and Bill Jones of Hamilton, and Marene Shiplet of Ross. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Merle (Bud) Otto, Morris Otto.

Funeral services will be held at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home 1350 Millville Ave. on Thursday Dec. 27 at 10AM with Pastor Larry Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday Dec. 26 from 5-8PM. In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made to the Westwood Presbyterian Church, 1068 Stahlheber Road Hamilton, OH 45013.
