Hazel L. Fuhrman

August 14, 1943 — July 23, 2022

Hazel L. Fuhrman, age 78 of Hamilton, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022. Hazel was born in Greeleyville, South Carolina on August 14, 1943 to Carl Parker and Ruth (Ard) Parker. On October 20, 1963, she married Charles ‘Chuck’ Fuhrman in Sumter, South Carolina. Hazel was a beloved hair stylist at Lee’s Salon in Hamilton for 50 years.

Her spirit lives on through her three children, Carl (Kim) Fuhrman of Crystal Falls, Michigan, Robert (Ann) Fuhrman of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Mickelle (Stephanie) Fuhrman of Hamilton, Ohio; one sister, Carol Buck; five grandchildren, Adam, Bethany, Torij, Bobby, and Braiden. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years, Chuck Fuhrman; one brother, Joe Parker; and three adolescent sisters.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Chris Trumbull officiating.  Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The American Diabetes Association or the Knolls of Oxford.
