Hazel Stempfley, age 95 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Saturday, September 13, 2014. She was born in Hamilton on November 7, 1918 to Charles and Loretta (Judd) McGuire.
She is survived by her sons, Denny (Sue) Stempfley, and David (Tammy) Stempfley; grandchildren, Rick (Gayl Underwood) Stempfley, Amy (Brian) Garrity, Mallory, and Natalie Stempfley; great-grandchildren, Sydney Stempfley, Tegan, and Griffin Garrity. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Stempfley;four brothers, Edward, Chris, Earl, and Charles McGuire; two sisters, Katherine Upthegrove, and Sylvia McGuire; and her parents.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to AmVets Post #1983 or to Hospice of Hamilton in her honor.
