Heather Jo “Mo” Gielda, age 45 of Trenton, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. Heather was born in Bay City, Michigan on January 21, 1977 to the late John “Ron” and Sally (Morse) Gielda. Heather graduated from Grand Rapid Central High School, class of 1996 and earned a bachelor’s degree in analytics & statistics from Baker College in Flint, Michigan. At a young age, Heather enjoyed sports, especially hockey and soccer. She also enjoyed band. Her love for sports and fitness lead her to become a champion bodybuilder and yoga instructor that taught 8 different styles. She worked at the family business, Wolverine Fireworks for many years and became a certified pyrotechnician. For over 8 years, she and her husband, Thomas, owned and operated Gym Rats Construction and Hobbled Rooster Antiques & Collectables. Above all, Heather loved her family and friends and will be dearly missed by so many.

Heather is survived by her loving husband, Thomas M. Proctor, Jr.; her daughter, Kaya Davis; her sister, Jacqueline (Mike) Achenbach; her brother, Kenneth (Kerri) Gielda; her nieces, Keri (Troy) Kerr, Addie Coons and Samantha Kay (Kyle) Mackey; her nephews, Justin (Sarah) Achenbach and Zack Rowan; her brother-in-law, Forrest Coons; as well as many extended family members and close friends that are too numerous to list by name. Heather was preceded in death her parents and her sister, Holly Coons.

Services will be private and held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Heather’s memory to your local animal shelter.
