Helen Campbell

Helen Campbell, age 86 of Hamilton went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 2:12 AM. She was born in Sand Gap, Kentucky on August 14, 1921 the daughter of George and Sarah (Brockman) Felty. Helen was employed as the cafeteria manager at Hanover School in the Talawanda District. She enjoyed traveling, camping, and having lunch with the "Burger King Bunch." Helen was a member of McGonigle- Millville United Methodist Church. On December 24, 1941 in Hamilton, she married Fred Campbell.

She is survived by her husband, Fred Campbell of Hamilton; a son, Fred W. (Debi) Campbell of Arkansas; a daughter, Pam (Gerald) Norris of Oxford; four grandchildren, Denver (Bonnie) Norris, David Norris, both of Oxford, Alicia (Todd) Gabbard of Hamilton, and Andy Worley of Arkansas; four great-grandchildren, Dalton Norris, and Skylar, Isabella, and Anastasia Gabbard; three brothers, Robert Kammeron, MacArthur Kammeron, both of Hamilton, and Gary Lee Kammeron of Florida; and six sisters, Evelyn Utley of Evansville, Indiana, Pauletta Knapp of Hamilton, Victoria (Dostal) Martin of Dayton, Karen (Mike) Counch, Kathy (Jim) Vorbroker, both of Hamilton, and Faye Harrison of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Felty and Sarah Kammeron; a brother, Fred Kammeron; and two sisters, Delores Powell and Jean Webb.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, October 5, 2007 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Edwin Beck, Pastor of McGonigle-Millville United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to McGonigle-Millville United Methodist Church, 2370 Lanes Mill Road, Hamilton 45013.
