Helen Fields

Helen B. Fields, age 90 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 6:26 PM. She was born in Hyden, Kentucky on November 25, 1925 to Dennis and Vilcie (Feltner) Begley. Helen was a member of the Laurel Avenue Church of Christ. On July 12, 1947 in Covington, Kentucky she married Alfred Fields and he preceded her in death in 2003.

She is survived by her son, Dennis (Brenda) Fields of Winnsboro, South Carolina; one sister, Lucy (Carl) Martin of Columbus, Ohio; three grandchildren, Sara (Jay) Simpson of Rock Hill, South Carolina, Emily (Mike) Paterson of Washington, D.C., and Shawn (Dea) Fields of Cincinnati; and six great grandchildren, Zachary, Ben, Will, Oliver, Annie, and Jack. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Ruby Elliott, Clara Morris, and Flora Gray.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 10:00 AM with Minister Jim Neal of Laurel Avenue Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be directed to Hospice of Hamilton, 1010 Eaton Avenue, Hamilton 45013.
