Helen Messelling-Rowe

Messelling-Rowe, Helen Frances (Smith), age 79 of Hamilton, Ohio passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at her residence. She was born on May 2, 1936 in Hamilton, Ohio, the daughter of Theodore and Nora Lee Smith (Fox). She married James Edward Messelling on July 24, 1953 and he preceded her in death on July 5, 1975. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Lenke (Messelling), daughter, Karen Elaine Messelling, sister, Hannah Elaine Smith, brother, Theodore Douglass and both parents. She married Gary Lee Rowe on July 17, 1982. She is also survived by her children James Messelling (Linda) of West Carrollton, William Messelling (Donna) of Englewood, Diana Clymer (Mike) of Miamisburg, Daniel Messelling (Wisconsin), Deborah Ellis (Roger) of Carlisle, Patricia Braun (Eric) of Fairfield Township, 18 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, sister, Ethel Guthke (Alan) of Illinois, Step-sister, Lisa Smith, Half-brother, Eric Smith and a host of nieces, nephews and relatives. The family would like to extend their "Thanks" to the friends and community of Hamilton that came into the Brown Bar for their patronage over the last 40 years. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday June 11, 2015 at 1 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton. Visitation will be held on Thursday June 11, 2015 from 10 AM until time of service (1 PM).
