Helen O'Donohoe

Helen O'Donohoe, age 91 of Hamilton, passed away at Huntington Court on Monday, June 19, 2023. Helen was born in Hamilton, Ohio on March 20, 1932 to Albert Briede and Frieda (Baumeister) Briede. She was a member of St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church. Helen also was a member of the Hamilton Dog Training Club for many years, and it was a very fun part of her life. Helen is survived by her children, Bridget Fitzgerald, Jeffrey (Nancy) O'Donohoe, and Julie O'Donohoe; her grandchildren, Todd (Brandy) Fitzgerald, Bridget (David) Hornsby, and Scott (Kelly) O’Donohoe; and nine great grandchildren, Meara, Roman, Lilly, Nathan, Mabel, Holden, Vera, Carrig, and Joshua; sister-in-law, Dorothy Briede; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Briede and Frieda Briede; her grandchildren, Sean Fitzgerald and Brandon Hornsby; and her siblings, Richard Briede, Jimmy Briede, Mark Briede, Don Briede, Jean (Harry) Bodner, Rita (Paul) Menchen, and Naomi (Courtland) Weldon. Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Hamilton Dog Training Club, 2720 Symmes Rd. Fairfield, OH 45014; or the Buckeye Border Collie Rescue, 3514 Township Line Rd. Tiffin, Ohio  44883.  The family would also like to express a special thanks to the caring staffs of Huntington Court and Hospice of Cincinnati.
