Helen M. Turner

Helen M. Turner, age 67 of Rising Sun, Indiana, formerly of Hamilton passed away at Dearborn County Hospital, Lawrenceburg, Indiana on Friday, May 29, 2009. She was born in Hamilton on October 7, 1941 the daughter of Charles W. and Bertha M. (Stahlheber) Johnson. Helen was a homemaker who was devoted to her family.

She is survived by two sons, Douglas (Patricia) Turner of Covington, Kentucky and Michael (Carrie) Turner of Keymar, Maryland; two daughters, Deborah (Barry) Isaacs of Cincinnati and Regina (David) Bailey of Rising Sun, Indiana; two sisters, Jo Ann Taylor of Willamsdale and Ruth McIntosh of Hamilton; 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Tyler Proffitt; a sister, Donna Fox; and a niece, Wanda Roberts.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Don Campbell of Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.
