Henrietta "Ettie" Van Winkle, age 63 of Oxford passed away at her residence on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 3:06 PM. She was born in Hamilton on July 7, 1947 the daughter of Owen and Lilian (Smith) Richardson. On September 6, 1963 in Fairfield she was married to Roy Van Winkle Jr.
She is survived by her husband Roy Van Winkle Jr. of Oxford; two sons, Robert Van Winkle and his wife Beth of Victor, New York and Roy Van Winkle III of Wisconsin; a daughter, Melissa Van Winkle of West Chester; a brother, Owen Richardson Jr. of Chicago, Illinois; two sisters, Marie "Rinnie" Richardson and Wandie Richardson, both of Hamilton; ten grandchildren, Tyler, Courtney, Sydney, Elizabeth, Joshua, Jaboa, Tanika, Justin "Matthew", Tasha Van Winkle, and Jennifer Young; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
