Henry F. Chuhak

Henry F. Chuhak, age 95 of Hamilton, passed away at Westover Retirement Community on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at 1:20AM. He was born in Hamilton on May 9, 1918 to Henry and Victoria (Boshkari) Chuhak. On February 16, 1952 in Hamilton he married Anna Belle King. Henry was employed at Champion Paper Company for 37 years. He was a long time member of the Elks, Monkeys, Amvets, Eagles, and a life time member of the YMCA. For many years he enjoyed playing handball, and baseball and also umpiring for many sports.

He is survived by three sons, Mark (Jenni) Chuhak, of Hamilton, Mike (Joanie) Chuhuk of Camden, and Jack (Gayle) Brickles of Florida; five grandchildren, Erin (Ben) Schmidt, Lauren, Natalie, Olivia, and Jennifer (Adam) Branin; and one great grandson Kacen. He was preceded in death by his wife Anna Belle Chuhak in 2006, his parents, and two brothers and two sisters.

Memorial gathering will be held at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., on Thursday April 10, 2014 from 5:00PM – 7:00PM.
