Henry Lester Smith

Henry Lester Smith, age 73 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 10:55AM. He was born in Manchester, KY on March 13, 1940 to Elbert and Elsie (Collins) Smith. Henry retired from Diebold Safe Company in 1990, and later was an intrical part of Smith Trailers and Equipment with his son Randall. On July 9, 1960 in Manchester, KY he married Geneva Smith of Otter Creek, KY, and she preceded him in death in 2010. Henry was a hard working family man, with a vibrant personality, who loved life and was dedicated to his family. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by two children; Randall (Jennifer) Smith, of West Chester, and Lisa (Brian) Drew, Hamilton; four grandchildren, Aaron, Caitlin, Cody, and Presley; two sisters, Helen (Paul) Guffey of Hamilton, and Clara (Joe) Harris of Hamilton.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 12 Noon. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 from 10 AM-12 Noon at the funeral home. The family wishes to express a special thank you to Hospice of Hamilton for all of their care and support.
