Herbert Marcum, age 76 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 04:10PM. He was born in Clay County, Kentucky on February 5, 1938 to Henry and Lillian (Hacker) Marcum. On January 21, 1961 he married Ora Lee Hibbard and together they enjoyed over 50 years of marriage. Herbert was employed at Champion Paper for over 30 years and retired in 2001.
He is survived by his children Eddie (Shari) Marcum, Verna Johnson, Shane (Marlene) Marcum and Lisa Marcum; grandchildren Chrissy, Christy, Angie, Lindsey, Jamie, Brittany, Sarah, Travis, Tony and Joshua; 8 great grandchildren; 4 brothers and one sister; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ora Lee, two brothers and one sister.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, Wednesday January 7, 2015 at 6 PM. Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 7, 2015 from 5-6 PM at the funeral home.
