Herman J. Webb, age 72, of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 2:52AM. He was born in Blanchester, OH on February 28, 1940, the son of Lawton and Wilmirth (Hurst) Webb. Herman was a self-employed truck driver for 32 years, and retired in 2003. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge #330 in Trenton. On Jan. 27, 1960 in Michigan, he married Sue Wiegand.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Webb of Hamilton; five children, Deborah (Douglas) Marcum of Trenton, Lisa (Robert) Marcum of Hamilton, Vicki Murray (Bill Hamm) of Hamilton, Joseph (Rebecca) Webb of Maineville, and Julie (Rex) Chandley of Seven Mile; twelve grandchildren, Randall, Christina (Steve), Angela (Joe), Kevin, Brandon, Brittany, Jessica, William, Joseph, Timmy, Ryan, and Paige; eleven great-grandchildren, Austin, Cody, Haley, Alissa, Cooper, Peyton, Alexys, Brayden, Zaylah, Devin, and Jacob; two brothers, Vernon Webb of Fort Worth, Texas, and Cleve Webb of Georgetown, Kentucky; and four sisters, Carol Robertson of Hamilton, Rena Bell of Denver, Colorado, Maryetta Glenn of Denver, Colorado, and Loretta Roherman of Dodge City Kansas, many nieces, nephews, other family and friends, and a special friend, Missy his beloved dog.
Funeral services will be held at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave. on Friday July 20, 2012 at 12noon. Burial will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10AM until the time of service at 12noon. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Crane, Lisa, Christine, and all the staff for all their care and thoughtfulness, and to the staff at Hospice of Hamilton.
