Hilda Faye Robertson

Hilda Faye Robertson, age 65 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 8:55 AM. She was born in Hamilton on February 5, 1946 the daughter of Harvey and Ruth (Barker) Davis. Hilda was a life member of Amvets Post #71 Auxiliary, VFW Post #1069 Auxiliary, and American Legion Post #138 Auxiliary. On December 21, 1974 in Jacksonville, Florida she married George L. Robertson Jr.

She is survived by her husband, George L. Robertson Jr. of Hamilton; three sons, Wesley (Debra) George of Somerville, Terry (Sandra) Banfield and George (Tiffany) Robertson III, both of Hamilton; a daughter, Karen (Earl) Campbell of Hamilton; four brothers, Ted Davis, James Davis, Raymond (Carol) Davis, all of Hamilton, and Johnny (Sherry) Davis of North Carolina; a sister, Darlene (Rodney) Miller of Hamilton; 8 grandchildren, George L. IV and Madison C. Robertson, Jacob I. Banfield, Joshua L. Bruce, Donnovan L., Jordan A., Aaron M., and Elizabeth R. Campbell; and a great-granddaughter, Jocelyn R. Lynch. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Anna Spiers; and a brother, Darrell Wayne Davis.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Monday, May 9, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Lamon Hubbs of New Testament Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
