Howard "Glenn" Napier

Howard "Glenn" Napier, age 78 of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016 surrounded by his family. Glenn was born June 9, 1938 in Chavies, Kentucky to Taylor Napier and Mae (Whitaker) Napier. Glenn attended Buckhorn High School graduating as Valedictorian of the class of 1957. He attended Berea College in Berea, KY before transferring to Miami University. Glenn was employed by Ross Local School District where he served as a middle school math teacher and Assistant Principal until retirement in 1992. On June 12th, 1969 Glenn married his wife Carmelita Gray, who lovingly cared for him through his illness.

Glenn is survived by wife Carmelita Napier; his son Mark Glenn Napier and his daughter in law, Mendy; his grandchildren Christopher Glenn Napier and Emma Ann Napier; and six siblings. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents and his sister. Glenn will be greatly missed by his family and friends and will be cherished forever.

Funeral service will be held at Eaton Road Church of God, on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 2:00 PM with Dr. Dale French officiating. Burial will follow at Collinsville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Eaton Road Church of God. Memorial contributions can be made to the church.
