HOWARD PATRICK

Age 84, of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Monday, March 25, 2019.

Howard was born to Bill and Ella Patrick on October 13, 1934 in Salyersville, KY. Howard met Mary Ann Peyton and they married in 1953. They settled in New Miami where they would raise 5 children. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a family man. He especially loved to spend time with his grandchildren, whether it was in his backyard telling his famous stories, picking apples or taking walks, he enjoyed nothing more than time spent with his family.

Howard was a beloved member of his community as well. Everyone that met him, loved him. He loved to be outside. He would take walks daily on the street that he resided on for over 50 years and made many friends along the way, never missing an opportunity to strike up a conversation with his neighbors.

He retired from Hamilton Casters of Hamilton. He was their long distance truck driver for 30 years. He loved his job and the company he worked for.

Howard is survived of his wife of 65 years, Mary Ann Patrick; Five children, Darlene Garnett of Hamilton, Alene ( Steven ) Thiemann of Hamilton, Dale Howard Patrick of Fairfield, Fern ( Mike ) Miley of Hamilton and Richard Patrick of Hamilton. Grandchildren; Stephanie Morris, Stacy (Justin) Jarvis, Brent Thiemann, Natasha Patrick, Krysta Patrick. Great Grandchildren: Kaeli Morris, Savannah Jarvis, Kyle Morris, Ashleigh Jarvis, Lucy Jarvis and Brantley Jarvis. He was preceded in death by one grandson Jeffery Patrick.

Visitation will be held Friday March 29th from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 AM with Pastor Kevin Judd officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery.
