Hubert M. Miller

Hubert M. Miller, age 88 of Reily Township passed away at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield on Friday, January 29, 2010. He was born in Hamilton on September 10, 1921 the son of Robert C. and Lillie (Richardson) Miller. Hubert served in World War II as a merchant marine, and as a radio telegraph operator. He was also a lifetime farmer in Reily Township, adored the outdoors, and loved his family.

He is survived by his brother, Harold R. Miller of Oxford; three nephews, including a devoted nephew, John Miller of Oxford, and Robert and David Miller; and four nieces, Gail Stark, Carolyn Feltner, Martha Huesing, and Ginger Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Helen Grammel; and a niece Cheryl Miller.

Funeral service will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery Chapel, 1602 Greenwood Avenue, on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the chapel from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the loving people who helped Hubert in his time of need.
