Ima M. Creech

Ima M. Creech, age 83 of Hamilton, passed away at Butler County Care Facility on Monday, April 7, 2008 at 3:05 AM. She was born in Irvine, Kentucky on February 17, 1925 the daughter of Milford and Nannie Mae (Dozier) Robertson. Ima was employed as a sorter for Champion Paper Company, retiring in 1983. She was member of the Order of Eastern Star #568 Ft. Hamilton Chapter. On June 21, 1946 in Covington, Kentucky she married Robert Creech who preceded her in death in 1994.

She is survived by two daughters, Harriet Mathieu and Patty (Ernie) Webb, both of Hamilton; two brothers, Howard (Ruby) Robertson and Dewey (Virginia) Robertson both of Marion, Indiana; five sisters, Parriet (Bill) Mitchell, Nancy Robertson, Connie Robertson, all of Irvine, Kentucky, Thelma (Bill) Martin of Sarasota, Florida, and Betty (Wayne) Chaney of Chula Vista, California; two grandchildren, Grace Mathieu and Gary Deaton; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Harry Lee, Steve, Herbert, and Billy Robertson; two sisters, Mary Cordene and Coffa Winkler; and grandson, Robert Mathieu.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Sonny Hurd of Lighthouse Fellowship officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Thursday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her hospice nurse Sheryl for all her care and support.
