Inez Dittman

Inez Dittman, age 89 of Lutz, Florida passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2015. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 12, 1925 to Troy and Katherine (Kelly) Townsend Sr. On August 13, 1943 in Hamilton she married Vernon Dittman, who preceded her in death in 1979. Inez was retired from New Miami Elementary and Sanders Elementary in Land O' Lakes, Florida and University Church of God Christian School in Tampa, Florida.

She is survived by her Children, Steve (Janis) Dittman, Keith (Kathy) Dittman, and Rick (Peggy) Dittman; 10 grandchildren, Sandra (Terrence) Dornford, Steven (Mary) Dittman, Rick II (Carla) Dittman, David (Ellen) Dittman, Chris (Brooke) Dittman, Nick (Kristen) Dittman, Dustin (Lauren) Dittman, Brian Dittman, Lacey (Mike) Coone, and Wade Rivers; 14 great-grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; and a brother, Troy Townsend Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Dittman; a daughter, Claudia Lee Dittman; a sister, Faye Wheatley; and her parents.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 12:30 PM with Pastor Scott Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice or Haven Hospice of Palatka, Florida.
