Irene G. Estridge

Irene G. Estridge, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015 at the age of 91, at Tri County Extended Care Center. She was born in Millville, OH on September 28, 1923 to Thomas and Della (Spence) Blevins. She was one of fourteen brothers and sisters, and is survived by one sister Doris Parnell and one brother John Blevins. She was preceded in death by her husband John Sr. and one son Kenny.

She was a life time member of the Nazarene Church and was currently a member of the Millville Ave. Nazarene Church.

She is also survived by one son John Jr. (Sally) Estridge; two daughters, Janet Schindler and Linda Thompson; and also numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren. The family wishes to express a special thank you to all nurses and nurses aides at Tri County Extended Care Center and a special thanks to Michelle, Treasa (HoneyBear), Cassidy, Faith, Sis, and Angie. Special thanks also for the loving care from all the staff at Hospice of Cincinnati.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 11 AM. Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 10-11 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Hospice of Cincinnati and to the Millville Ave. Nazarene Church.
