Irene Lee

Irene Lee, age 84 of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2016. Irene was born in Laurel County, Kentucky on December 6, 1931 to Colnerl and Elizabeth (Asher) Greer.

She touched the lives of so many, especially among life’s most vulnerable. For 20 years, she worked for the Hamilton Board of Education, providing caring transportation to countless children with special needs. She felt more than just responsible for "her kids" destination; she wanted to be part of their life journey. Irene also loved being with family, camping, and having fun with friends.

Irene is survived by her forever devoted and beloved husband of 65 years, Dean Lee, her children, Glenn (Gail) Lee, Karen (Tim) Gibbons, and Deana (Darrel) Holliday; her grandchildren, Andy (Kim) Lee, Erin (Jay) Phillips, and Nicki (Chad Lloyd) Caldwell; her great grandchildren, Alex, Lana, Isla, and Ellie. Irene was preceded in death her gone to soon son, Gary Lee, her siblings, Hobart, Earl, Stella, Clyde, Ida, Frank, and Lloyd, her parents, and countless friends and family who were blessed to know her.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 12:00 PM with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. Condolences at www.browndawsonflick.com
