Irene Williams

Irene Williams, age 82 of Hamilton, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 10, 2014 at 9:25PM. She was born in Hamilton on October 18, 1931 to Hayden and Jaley (Browning) Woods. Irene was employed in Stewart County, Tennessee as a Nurse, STNA. On April 11, 1951 she married Delbert Williams, and he preceded her in death in 2001. She leaves behind precious memories of love and laughter that was showed to all of her family and friends.

She is survived by three sons, Greg Williams, Robert (Mary) Williams, and Brian (Sarah) Williams; six grandchildren, Shelly, Katie, Christopher, Emily, Lindsie, and Lauren; three great-grandchildren, Michael, Jayleigh, and Caroline; three siblings, Paul (Mary) Woods, Janet (Bill) Dean, and Mike (Kim) Woods; and numerous nieces, nephews, other realitives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 12noon with Rev. Ron Stewart of High Street Baptist officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11AM-12Noon at the funeral home.
