Iva Maureen Miller

Iva Maureen Miller, age 73 of Hamilton passed away at her residence on Sunday, April 3, 2011 at 9:10 PM. She was born in Clay County, Kentucky on August 27, 1937 the daughter of Chester and Elizabeth (Hicks) Maupin. She was employed as a manager at Carter’s Restaurant and Wal-Mart’s jewelry department.

She is survived by two sons, Dennis (Charlotte) Miracle of Mansfield, Ohio and Brian Miracle of Hamilton; a brother, Chester (Carol) Maupin Jr. of Wyoming, Ohio; three sisters, Frankie (Dick) Rumpler of Somerset, Kentucky, Lobeda Garrett of Hamilton, and Charlene Nienaber of Fairfield; and four grandchildren, Ryan (Sheri) Miracle, Ashley Miracle, Kirsten Sheehan, and Emily Albright. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Boyd Miracle and Donald Miller; a brother, Raymond Maupin; and six sisters, Hazel Robinson, Mamie Morris, Clara Hurley, Lucy Saurber, Phyllis Martin, and Esther Duncan.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Brock Strong officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
