Jack Boggs age 69 of Hamilton passed away in Fort Hamilton Hospital on Thursday January 28, 2010 at 4:04 PM. He was born in Lynch, Kentucky on August 1, 1940 the son of Boyd and Elvira (Isom) Boggs. Jack was a member of the Eaton Road Full Gospel Church and was employed as a carpenter for Haven House Ministries for twelve years. On September 11, 1970 in Hamilton, he was married to Brantly Baker.
He is survived by his wife Brantly Boggs of Hamilton; a son, Bennie Shaun (Stephanie) Boggs of Hamilton; three brothers, Lonnie (Sandy) Boggs of Hamilton, Elbert (Janet) Boggs of Berea, Kentucky, and Boyd (Kathy) Boggs of Fairfield; three sisters, Rev. Faye (Rev. Bobby) Grove of Hamilton, Carol (Charlie) Owens of Junction City, Kentucky, and Bertha (Lester) Parker of Hamilton; four grandchildren, Kiera, Christian, Christopher, and Bennie Jr.; a aunt, Nellie Evans of Fairfield; a dear friend, Darlene Brinegar of Lebanon; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Irvine and Coulon; a sister Jeanette Cornett.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Ernest Benge, pastor of the Eaton Road Full Gospel Church officiating. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Haven House, 550 High Street.
