Jack W. Davis, age 67 of Hanover Township passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Thursday, April 16, 2009. He was born in Cincinnati on October 26, 1941 the son of Walter T. and Ruby L. (Reynolds) Davis. Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force from 1960 to 1964. A lieutenant firefighter for the City of Hamilton Fire Department, he retired in 1990. On September 9, 1960 in Hamilton Jack married Patricia A. Oden.
A beloved husband, father, and grandfather, he is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Davis of Hanover Township; a daughter, Donna J. Brecht and her husband William of Van Buren, Ohio; and two grandchildren, Kristina Marie Day and Kevin Allen Day. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Jack will be sadly missed by family and friends. A graveside funeral service will be held at Millville Cemetery on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Harold Thompson officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Diabetes Association.
