Jack Huber, age 69 of Hamilton passed away in Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, on Monday, October 6, 2008 at 8:00 PM. He was born in Cincinnati on February 26, 1939 the son of Rodney and Hazel (Booth) Huber. Jack was employed as a patrolman with the City of Cincinnati Police Department for twenty-five years, retiring in 1989. On June 21, 1984 in Cincinnati, he was married to Patsy Cole.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Huber of Hamilton; two sons, Deno Gibson of Seymour, Ind. and Jeff Huber of Cincinnati; two daughters, Pepper (Greg) Plowman of West Chester and Tami (Kelly) Hoffman of Cincinnati; one sister, Wilma (Carl) Chambers of TN; eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael, Amanda, Christie, Stephanie, Jennifer, Kris, and Trina; and four great-grandchildren, Summer, Dani, Joe, and Logan. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 6:00 PM with Pastor Kim Katterheinrich of Redeemer Church officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery at a later date. The family request that flowers be of silk so she can appreciate them for some time.
