Jack R. Sandlin

Jack R. Sandlin, age 65 of Fairfield, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Friday, May 4, 2018. Jack was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 28, 1952 to James Sandlin and Wilma Nash Hayes. Jack was an avid Fairfield Indians, Dallas Cowboys, Notre Dame, Boston Red Sox and Duke fan. He was a member of the Monkeys Mutual Aid Society for 28 years and enjoyed playing bingo and singing karaoke. Jack attended Hamilton Church of God.

Jack is survived by siblings, Sheila (Gary) Sams, Richard (Debbie) Sandlin, Tammy (Dave) Naylor, Crystal (David) Hayes and Arthur (Donna) Smith, Randy and Johnny Hayes; uncle, John Croucher; aunt, Roberta Chasteen; numerous nieces and nephews; lifelong friend, Bill Purk. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, James Sandlin, Wilma Hayes and Carl Hayes; grandparents, Ida and Arthur Nash; siblings, Michael and Ernie Sandlin.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, OH. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Alan Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
