Jacquelyne Inge "Jackie" Laney, age 58 of Batavia, passed away at Batavia Nursing Home on Monday, July 2, 2018. Jackie was born in Berlin, Germany on January 26, 1960 to WIlliam R. and Inge H. (Fischer) Spears. She loved animals, nature, and worked for League for Animal Welfare in Batavia.
Jackie is survived by her children, Amanda Laney and Erik Geiser; her parents Inge H. and William R. Spears; her grandson, Sam Geiser; her brothers, George N. Spears and Raymond W. Spears.
Memorial service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 7:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. www.browndawsonflick.com
