James "Amos" Street

James “Amos” Street, age 45, passed away on April 2, 2026. Born on September 5, 1980, Amos was a man who lived life with his sleeves rolled up. He made his living working in blacktop, concrete, and seal coating.

Amos was the kind of person who truly had a heart for others. If someone was in a spot of trouble, he would do anything he could for anyone. He was a funny guy who could lighten the mood in an instant, but behind the jokes was a deep, sincere love for his family. They were his world, and he was happiest when he was surrounded by them. His presence was a steady one, and the loss of his humor and his helpful spirit leaves a gap that won't easily be filled.

James is survived by his wife and partner of 30 years, Michelle Street (Eversole); his father, Marion “Big M” Street; his siblings, Marvin Lee Street Jr., Daniel Street (Tammy) and Heather Street; his brother-in-law, Michael Eversole; his children, Abbigale Street, James Street Jr., and Jayson Street; and his granddaughter, Invy Hubbard, who was his pride and joy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra “Kay” Street; his brother, Nicholas Street; his grandmothers, Lillian Street and Margaret Combs; his grandfather, Lem Street; his father-in-law, Richard “Buggz” Eversole; and his mother-in-law, Parka Diane Kelly-Eversole.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026 at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45013 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with Pastor Larry Davis officiating.
