James F. Botner, age 50 of Trenton went home to be with the Lord on July 19, 2008 at his home while surrounded by his family. He was born in Hamilton on April 4, 1958. James was employed as a driver for Fed-Ex Freight for the past ten years. He was a member of the Princeton Pike Church of God. James enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in his yard. One of his favorite things was to spend time with his family and friends. On July 4, 2005 in Hamilton he married Pamela Burton.
He was a loving husband, son, father and grandfather who is survived by his devoted wife: Pamela Botner; his mother, Nancy Botner; children; James (Cristy), Josh (Jen), Amy, and Jamie; six grandchildren; his uncle David; and his loyal Bassett Hound, Barney. He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Ron Medley of the Princeton Pike Church of God officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. A special thank you to our wonderful neighbors for all their love and support and his nurse, Cindy Hinkle, Chaplain Dennis Betts, and Vitas for all their care and support.
