James Bowman, Jr.

James Bowman Jr., age 86 of Hamilton passed away at McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at 6:05 AM. He was born in Camden on June 21, 1926 the son of James Sr. and Etta (Staton) Bowman. James was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during WWII and was employed in maintenance at Western States Machine Company.

He is survived by children, Rick Bowman, Jimmy Bowman, Donna Hueslman, and Sheila Huckey; his life partner and caretaker, Elaine Runyon; sister, Ruby Dalton; and grandson, Michael Hueslman. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Kathleen Lyttle, Helen Bollinger, Goldie Holland, Bob Bowman, Dorothy Adams, Juanita Pierson, and Irene Rymer.

Visitation will be 1pm until time of funeral service (3pm), Thursday, July 19, 2012 at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue. Burial will follow in Darrtown Cemetery.
