James H. Bowring, age 76 of New Miami, passed away at his residence on Saturday, November 15, 2025. He was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on September 29, 1949 the son of David H. and Mardelle (Patch) Bowring. On July 24, 1969, in Moline, Illinois, he married Pamela R. Cashion. James was an avid Harley Davidson rider and known by Rat Pan and Buffalo Chip by his many biker buddies.
James is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Pamela R. Bowring; one daughter, Theresa Bowring; four grandchildren, Dakota Bowring, Randi Buescher, Jami Buescher, and Cheyenne Schaefer; four great grandchildren, Mia, Noah, Hailey, and Harlee; one great grandson on the way, Kyro; two siblings, Nannette Bowring and Ken Bowring; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, David H. Bowring.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
