James Clinton Buhi, age 83 of Trenton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Sunday, May 3, 2009 at 3:55 AM. He was born in Oxford on February 18, 1926 the son of William Joseph and Sadie Marie (Burnhardt) Buhi. James was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II from 1945 to 1946 and was a member of Full Gospel Mission. In November, 1973 he married Pauline Hopper in Liberty, Indiana.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline Buhi of Trenton; three sons, Ronnie (Sandy) Pike of Middletown, James (Sharon) Buhi and Samuel (Sheila) Pike, both of Hamilton; four daughters, Anna (Robert) Koelblin, Paula (Thomas) McKnight, both of Hamilton, Betty Jo Widau of Beavercreek, Ohio and Elise (Claude) Henley of Tennessee; a sister, Dorothy Meyer of Hamilton; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son-in-law, Randall Widau; five sisters, Willa Decker, Erma Burkhardt, Ruth Goble, Hazel Buhi, and Helen Buhi; and three brothers, Harmon, Howard, and Bill Buhi.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Jack Wesley and Rev. Gertrude Roberson officiating. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
